It's a little late, but here's Mario!

As you may have suspected, when making SSBM, we started with Mario. From him, we made Modeling, Motion, Program, Sound, Effects, and Parameters.

Here's a brief summary of what each one is:

  • Modeling: The outward appearance of a character. This includes their form and structure.
  • Motion: A character's animation, including jumping and punching.
  • Program: Used for operating and moving characters while playing the game.
  • Sound: Voice and sound effects.
  • Effects: Lighting and shading (also snoke effects) which appear on the screen.
  • Parameter: Things that determinr the speed in which you run, the velocity you fall at, and the strength of your attacks.

Mario is the standard in which we advance. He determines the rate of progress, and exactly what kind of game this turns out to be.

As such, this is what Mario is like.
